Scholarly publishing depends on careful research, but it also depends on reliable communication between authors, editors and publication systems. Accurate declarations and metadata help a strong paper move through the workflow without preventable confusion.

Why a journal’s scope should be checked before formatting the paper

Authors sometimes spend significant time adapting references and layout before confirming that the topic fits the journal. Scope fit should be assessed first; detailed formatting work is more efficient after that basic compatibility is established.

Core submission requirements

Current Science Georgia’s public author guidance asks for a title, author names and affiliations, corresponding-author email, ORCID where available, abstract, keywords, structured main text and references.

The online submission system accepts PDF, DOC and DOCX files; the abstract and keywords are also entered in the form, so core metadata should remain consistent between the manuscript and submission record.

Editorial screening

Editorial screening may consider scope, academic suitability, originality, ethical compliance, technical quality and completeness. Outcomes can include revision, further evaluation, acceptance or decline.

Fee after acceptance

The current Article Processing & Publication Fee is 395 EUR and is requested only after editorial acceptance. Authors should not pay before official acceptance; payment does not guarantee acceptance.

Publication record and verification

Published records can be searched by title, author, DOI/Zenodo number, article code and keyword. The journal publishes under ISSN 2667-9515.

Final author check

Before upload, authors should verify the final file version, author names and affiliations, required ethics/funding declarations, reference consistency, tables and figures, and the agreement between the manuscript and online metadata.
